44-0 to Keighley.

Bit of a non-starter really! Game was delayed for 55 minutes whilst we waited for a medic to turn up, Saints were sloppy from the start and they would have been thankful we only played 30 minutes each way instead of the usual 40.



I must say well done Keighley, even though it doesn't really say much about either side. Saints were very ill-disciplined, but I think they'll take a lot from this encounter.

You can see saints clearly was not bothered about this game with the team they sent out there ! First team Regulars 0 ! First team Squad member a hand full ! Then the rest full of reserves ! Even they could not be bothered to put on there new kits !

Saints had a number of part time players playing. Including Dave Sutton who is no even on the books at Saints.



Very dissapointing. The likes of Wheeler would of got a good hit out imo.

This was a warm up for the u20 season. No point in playing Wheeler when chances are he will barely feature in the u20 season, he's more likely to be on the bench for the first team as is Lomax. They both featured pretty heavily against both Widnes and Halifax too so technically they don't need the hit out.



Having said that quite a few lads who played yesterday did play in all three games and I think that may have contributed to the way they played yesterday, although I'm not trying to make excuses for the players. It's a tough ask but they'll be better off for it I reckon.



It was a bad day at the office for the players, but they'll learn more from games like that than when they're stuffing their own age group by 40-50 points .

It was a warm up for the u20 season, and it was never advertised by Saints as anything else, so obviously there wasn't going to be any First Team Regulars in the line-up. Nothing to do with Saints being 'not bothered' about the game.
