At least he's a body. I just hope we're not paying him as a big nrl signing. We still need a prop however.

I thinks it's pretty obvious that Puletua will play prop just he is doing currently as a 13.

When fit you won't find many better packs in SL. It's once again the backs that worry me.

He's probably only going to make our bench if we've got a full squad, so you'd hope they haven't paid over the odds.

Assuming they've only paid what he's worth, then if we signed a worthy squad prop (Davis from Wigan looked interesting in a Cas shirt on Sat) and kept Leon, I'd be highly delighted with next year's squad. I don't know if we'll manage that though.



Quite a damning sign for Ashurst and Dixon, though.

I don't want to do the lad down he may be a good player and the time in the NRL may have done him good BUT..



He isn't the position we are short of we need a Daddy Prop!

In theory, we could almost play a second rower in every position 1-13 next season!





Have we not got 4 back rowers in the u18's that fancy a crack at the remaining 4 bench spots?

To be fair, Keith's a decent prop. I wouldn't mind him back at Saints.

But it's took him a long time, when did he come back from Aus?

My concern is more the size of him, he is very small for his position. Hopefully he punches above his weight.



He could turn out to be a great signing, it's very hard to tell at the moment. I'd be a lot more confident if he was being picked over there every week, but he wouldn't be coming if that was the case.

2004 and he had a good season for Saints. I remeber thinking he should have got the Lance Todd against you guys. Had a bad time with injuries though in 2005 and found himself out of favour by the time Anderson took over. Had an unsuccessful loan period at cas, before (re)finding his feet at Hudds.
