I think it's clear to see that lomax ain't a scrum half, he's a good player but not a 7 as long as he lives.



He's no rugby brain and stepping back on the inside when it needs moving wide.

Another gutless display with no leadership or organising. What,s annoying me now is this rotation which means we have an unsettled side every week, it took Royce an hour to realise that the half backs were not working before bring wheeler on the field.

If I was coach I would re register Cunningham, stick him on the field, he doesn,t need to do any tackling or running, just be there to organise things and shout instructions.

The last time we played like this was way back in the mid eighties, Lomax needs to be full back, Gaskell scrum half and Wheeler at Stand off for the full eighty minutes.

We look poorly coached. We have talented players who dont look like they have a plan. Wellens is a waste of a shirt , he's a doorstop these days, offers nothing in attack very predictable.



Today with the team he picked when we were going nowhere I'd have thrown Gaskell back at 1 and dragged Wellens off for Wheeler, he was brought on way too late

don't think Simmons has the bottle to drop Wellens.As for Gaskell,would he do a job at FB?

You're telling me that we are light? Last year Leeds had Kirke, Lauititi and Bailey as their interchanges. Forgive me but we had LMS and Perry for replacements tonight, they aren't light lads. They just aren't motivated and angry enough. A swift kick to the nuts would set them right.



Motivation is required, not weight.

I thought the game turned when Wello messed up the 3 on 2 it was a certain try is he had passed,then to compound it he dropped the offload from Perry not long after.

A dustbin would have been better than Wellens tonight , Gaskell is faster has better hands and has a far more dangerous running game not to mention a good kicking game, putting Wheeler in the halves earlier tonight and taking off the Snail would have at least give defenders something to think about out wide, as it was the attack simply stopped when he chimed in.

I don't think it is defeats which are the problem per se. It's the manner of the play. We have a reasonably fit team this year, which we didn't last year. But we have a disinterested and disjointed team this year. Without Jammer AND Robes we have nobody who cares enough or is capable of leading either by command or by example.
