I think Anderson was a good coach for you but I also think Potter has been really unlucky with the injuries you've had, and some other players experiencing some poor form at times. I don't think it's a case of you were going great at one point 'because they were still playing DA's way' rather that some of the injuries and form dips hadn't set in at that point. I also think being without Cayless or a suitable replacement really held you back. |

This is RL - not Top Trumps. You don't win by feverishly scanning a list of attributes with absolute values in search of the one which will give you a victory over a particular opponent 100% of the time.
Saints have a great pack. Arguably the best in SL. But that doesn't mean it can't be defeated by an equal or lesser strength one with sufficient motivation. After all - ability is nothing without application. |

I think potter 1st aim when he took the Catalan job was to bring through some French players to cut down on all the Aussies.
I think I read in Potters last year they had something like 65% of the squad that was French which is pretty good as they made playoffs that year.
I don't think we will see youth coming through at Catalan for another few years yet. |

Wasn't he youth coach prior to taking on the Catalans job? I can't remember exactly, but he did something good with youth in Oz. |

I think it will take a while before we see the French produce any young lads that are up to super league level.
Setting up a good youth system takes time. |
