Well, the BBC crew referred to an ankle knock that he'd recovered from but since typing the first bit of my last post I read the Sky website and found that it was a sprained ankle rather than an ankle knock. And we know what they can be like from our experience with Kyle babes.
So much about this England side remind me of Saints ala 2010, actually. Poor defence, dropping the ball, giving away penalties, no halfbacks, poor kicking game, a handful of players performing well, and one of them subsequently out injured with an ankle sprain ... |

More like 6-8 weeks maybe 3 months prior to being able to start training again.
Thought he was poor first half but upped his game second half.
Despite someone who has posted on this thread blaming Goulding for the first try, for actually making a tackle, he was ball watching on the TL pass on the next play and got caught out as we had the numbers. Not the last time he struggled in defence in the first half.
Better than Atkins though by a country mile. |

Not alot he could do about the try. They had an overlap on that side and Shenton was effectively marking 3 men. |

Thats what I thought at the time but looking back the inside defenders had moved across and it was a 3 on 3. |

I know HP was poor at times but surely he was better than that clown McBanana who said after the game
"We dipped our toe in the water on Saturday and as soon as we realised it wasn't as cold as we thought, we managed to find our feet in the second half."
