Anyone know what the score is on this subject if you get your Sky sports through Virgin?

If you've got the "sky go" app, can you "press the red button" when watching on your ipad?

Option to record the red button is now available on the Sky TV guide, press select to choose between union game or Saints.

Cheers for the heads up ... that makes my Saturday a lot easier.

Can someone clarify how the red button is done. I don't have sky but have been tasked with taping the game for parents.

no not really. Do i need to go to a specific channel to get the red button? I don't have sky or virgin etc. have no experience with it whatsoever.

You can't tape it if you don't have sky, that's what the match is being broadcast on.

obviously need sky. so i go around to parents and never mind. I'll google it. easier and should have done it in the first place. should have known that asking for help would be pointless etc.

My best guess is you don't have sky yourself but your parents do so you're going round to their house to record it. If that's the case then you need to press 'tv guide' on the remote then go to sports. The first channel you'll see is Sky Sports 1, press the right button until 'Live Rugby Union: RSA V WAL' is highlighted, then press select. You'll see two options and one will be Catalans v St Helens. Highlight that option and press the red 'R' on your remote.

Instead of pressing select you now need to press record to get the options in the tv guide.

how many of you will want to watch or rematch that? ouch.
