£100k for burns apparently. It's a hell of a lot of money for 31yr old but it's a great signing and a sign of ambition from the club.

If we hold on to Walsh and Hohaia, then Lance can back up #1, #6, #7 and spell Robes at #9 when everyone's fit. All of a sudden, we've got a much more robust looking squad that doesn't drop a mile if Walsh gets injured again.



Still need a hard man to be added to the pack, imo.

I'd like a good hard hitting tackle busting secondrow and I think with Burns and Vea we will have recruited very well.



I still think we need other players but I think Burns, Vea and another forward would be excellent business.

A year's worth of development will be significant to Richards, Walker and Greenwood. I'd also expect to see Big Sav start to stretch his legs.

We need an "enforcer" personality, imo. Missing out of Sims was a shame (although his quota spot is well used on Burns), as one guy like this would (I think) give some real conflict confidence to the likes of LMS.

If the signing is true I wonder if Walshy had any influence on his decision to come to the Saints.

Burns would be a great signing, but I hope this doesn't mean Hohaia is going. I have a niggling feeling that Walsh will be heading home, having two natural halfbacks today is too good to be true!

I'd imagine the chances of Walsh being signed before a decent showing at Saints is now close to nil.



No one will want to put big money on a half with a serious injury.



So we will have him for at least one more year. Maybe 2 depending on how the NRL clubs contracts go. They will be looking for 2016 halfbacks midway through 2015. So Walsh may not even have stepped on the pitch by then.

As a HKR supporter I will be sorry to see Travis go to the Saints but business is business another one will come out of the woodwork as did Burns We got the same amount for. Blake. Green when he went toWigan

We have let 3 players go now Burns Hodgy and Hall Ireckon over £240K in the Joseph rank add on the wages they were on I think that would be well over half million to play with. Ok we may have lost these player but they did not do us that much good we are still 9 th in the comp lets hope we get 3 players that will take us up the ladder
