Well I for one am champing at the bit to see this guy.
I have the same feeling about this one tyhat I had about Nero and Worrincy so lookout SL!
Also anyone reckon we'll have one of the best hooker combo in him and Godwin?

You'll notice I didn't say 'the best' but one of the best!
IMO Worrincy has been a good signing - not great but he had a starring role in some of our most memorable wins.
Outside of Leeds and Saints I think our hooking combo will be a match for anyone. Even at Saints Cunningham is getting past it, Roby has done Sweet FA this year and Moore is still very unproven. Buderus also spent more time on the treatment table but then again you could say the same for Godwin (has looked the part since returning though!). |

I'm from Sydney and have watched him play for years.
No way in the world you would consider him world class.
He's not even the starting hooker at Manly.
He has been a bench player for most of his career in the NRL.
In fact he has only started about 7 times and this was back in 2006 and 2007 when at the Roosters. Mainly due to injury not talent.
He isn't a bad player though, just not world class.

I think it would probably be more reasonable to compare him to the guy he is replacing. How much have you seen of Terry Newton play? Enough to give us an unbiased comparison? |
