It's 8.27 on 1st September and I'm disappointed to see we've announced no stellar new signings so far.



The club obviously have no ambition and where lying to us at the forum. I would have expected the announcement of 5 big names in the last 8 hours... 28 minutes.





OK... I'm possibly getting a little over excited. The signings so far look steady rather than groundbreaking - a case of if they come off the potential is there for the to be successful rather than players who we can expect to help turn things round - so heres hoping for something to really wet the appetite over the next few days.

When I saw the headline....Another the day, Another signing, I got all wet, but damn, there wasnt one to be announced.

Maybe they'll announce Elima today, or Willie Mason!!...

I thought we'd see a new signing today too, but oh well, they will all come out over the next few weeks.

There wont be many more signing I dont think, perhaps one or two. Solid club men, folks would be best advised not to get their hopes up to high.

Come , the bottom line is we just need a side to get us 10 th or higher , that would be a success , to think we are going to sign big ala man city is way off , but I know what you mean , we want that 2003 dream team , n it's not gonna happen , yet , look to the positives , at least we are going forward ,

No, the only reason some people expected something to be announced today is because the 1st september is officially the first day clubs are allowed to approach players under contract/registered with other clubs (that had previously not been given permission to speak to other clubs).
