What do we know about the bidders and their finances? I have no idea which camp I’d prefer or whether they should join forces!!



Park Avenue – Rumours suggest its fronted by Bob Blackburn, does anybody know anything about him, his money and his reasons for wanting to take over at Odsal?

Again rumours state that BB is a drug baron! And only interested in using Odsal to further BPA and they will be become the MAIN tenant. Can anyone add further info?



Omar Khan – Apart from having 2 restaurants he is rumoured to be into property. What will Mr Khan gain from taking over the Bulls? Does he have the money to push us forward, what will Sutcliffes role be afterwards if the bid is successful?



And where the hell are Greenwoods/Hood and of course the dark Knight, he must be somewhere........

I don't see the need to question what the two bidders motives are or where they got their money from. Both are succesful businessmen and we should be happy that we have two bidders otherwise it would be lower league rugby for us. You have to trust the rfl on this one and to be fair no businessman is going to put his money into a business without hoping to profit from it are they?

How do you know they are both sucessful?? This could be the mother of all frauds???!??!?! Or part of a larger grandiose scheme - the RFL insisted that both provided proof of funding and a business plan.......



Trust the RFL - fair comment but please explain to me what Ken Davy/Simon Moran/Hugh Hudgell/Ian Lanegan/Gary Hetherington (Caddick)/Eamon McManus etc..... etc...... get from their clubs?? They are all sucessful business men and make no profit from RL........

There are a lot of rumours about Bob Blackburn, probably from people who don't like him. But while i have been watching BPA i can only say that i have found him to be a decent,down to earth bloke, who has not been afraid to put his hand in his pocket to support the club.

He has funded many improvements at Horsfall Stadium while the council have sat there and done nothing other than be obstructive.

If his interest in the Bulls enables Avenue to get a better stadium and improve their support, and also enables Bulls to carry on in SL then i'm all for it.

If you are in the know, who is behind the BPA bid and how will it work without Mr Blackburn?
