Really enjoyed yesterday! 1-17 were superb!



I'll give Harry Siejka massive credit. Thought he had his best game in a Bulls shirt. I've been a critic of his this year, but yesterday I thought he looked like a proper 7. Put in some great kicks, good passing and he took the line on a couple of times. Defensively he was a rock. Thought he had a clinical performance yesterday.



A'OB received the usual cheap shot (although Higsons was one of the worst he's received all year) but he looked everybit of the top class hooker we all know he's going to be!

Great day yesterday. The chanting throughout the game and the scenes at the end were unbelievable. You could see what it meant to all the players.



Thought our tactical kicking was very good yesterday. Siejka, Purtell and even AOB out of dummy half all kicked well. Certainly outshined Brierley and Reynolds; Leigh missed Ridyard. AOB's kick through for the Blythe try was very cheeky.



Thought the pack were excellent too - Sidlow and Ferguson especially for me. Ferguson consistently makes metres after the contact with his leg drives.



And Jake Mullaney - brilliant performance, before he went off again.

Best bit for me was when someone [presumably phoned in and asked for Marc Green in the South Stand, and they asked over the PA for him to contact a steward... just brilliant!

I think it was our composure that was they key to the win. We were more controlled than we've been in weeks. The whole side seemed to be right mentally which is something we need to replicate if we're going to have a chance of going up. We know we're capable of playing very well and beating other sides around us but we're also capable of getting stuffed.



I thought Purtell was immense and provided great leadership. Mullaney was great at the back and when he came forward. Our starting props played very well too.



It was a good team performance. It was interesting to see Lowes go with 4 forwards on the bench which worked well. I'd be tempted to do that again versus Fax unless Gaskell is fit. The Fax pack is pretty good so we need to be strong up front.



I must say it was nice to win so convincingly at Leigh - particularly in view of the hype we've heard from a few of their fans this season.
