obviously coaching staff dont think he'll have much to learn

have they never heard of jet lag ! wouldnt be the brightest move to put him in for the HKR game even if he managed to get here in time

if he is there he could come out for the warm-up for everyone to get a look but i dont think he should play

tend to agree. think he needs a full week training with squad as a bare minimum before being considered. We've spent the last few weeks training with jeffries/deacon as the halves combo and it'd be a bit silly to change that a day or two before the game for player possibly suffering jet lag and definitely missing match fitness. Plus it would be very harsh on jeffries.

Now against huddersfield in a couple of weeks is a different matter. If jeffries goes well this week then maybe use langley as an out and out prop while lynch is out and bird at 13.

Whilst I agree about not fast tracking him into the starting line up, a bench spot may be considered.



I am sure the Bulls marketing could use the 'Beaver and Bird' home debut's to try and get a good opening attendance. Hull KR usually travel pretty well, so the club will no doubt be disappointed with anything less than 11-12k.
