| I did like the bit of play where he drove it in on the last, and then was confused by the concept of handing the ball over and tried to play the ball after looking at and talking to the ref who was stood in our line for the expected Hull play the ball.
A classic bit of trickery that was crually spoilt by the laws of the game...

| We all know Warrincy hasn't had his best year so far but at least he won the womens tennis final at Wimbledon.

I don't. He just doesn't have the ability or rugby brain to ever make a good player imo. He may have the physical attributes, but he just can't use them, regardless of coaching. A decent coach just wouldn't pick him.

You've hit the nail on the head - he doesn't have a rugby brain. He wonders around looking lost both on attack and defence. What does he do all day during coaching sessions? He does not appear to have any knowledge of the game plan (if indeed one does exist ), and is constantly looking round at everyone else to see what he should be doing. The incident of the handover was just so typical! The ref was well within his rights to penalise him, but I reckon he took pity on him.
I'd really love it if he could come good, but I'm afraid I've given up on him.

Thought that was Emile Heskey? Which given his dire World Cup, is a credit to him.

| with regards to the play the ball incident, from where we were sat in the coral stand, it seemed that tansey was telling him to play the ball. When he finally understood what was happening he gave tansey the dirtiest look ever and threw the ball at him.

The referee told him 3 times to hand the ball over, as did his team mates.
The dirty look from Worrincy would have seen Les Boyd fall to his knees. No, really.

| The reason it was a handover was because the only two people in the ground who failed to spot Hull touching the ball, and thus wiping the slate, were the nearside linesman and the ref. I suppose Worrincy never considered it was possible the ref had failed to see it.
Not as bad as the miss when the Hull fullback blatantly handled a kick which went dead, but the officials never saw it and ruled a tap on the 20. The Hull lads near me have probably never laughed so hard as they did at that decision.
The one the blind linesman did spot was the alleged foot over the dead ball line - now I am in no position to say one way or the other, but the in-goal judge, who was stood no more than a metre or so away, said it was OK - yet the touchie, about 25 metres away, told the ref the foot was over the line. Whether it was or wasn't - why would the ref prefer that view over the chap stood next to it?
All very amusing.

| The thing with Worrincy is his tackle technique, he nearly always tries to stop people from the side using just his arms, very rarely if ever does he get his body and/or shoulder in to the tackle. That could be coached, although he also appears extremely reluctant to do the hard yards and drive the ball in, in fact he perpetually looks gassed which could be from too many gym hours and his inability to oxygenate his physique. Whatever it is, he's of no use whatsoever to the Bulls and he's one of the only players I actually fear could turn a game against us when he comes on. I'm sorry about that as when he first came he hit some good holes and ran decent lines and looked like he might be a star.
