The link between the forwards and backs is still non existent which is a worry.

Poor game, and a poor performance. We are so desperately in need of some creativity in the halves and soon. Kearney can't do everything on his own. And we missed Heath too to add that extra spark when he comes on. The first thirty minutes was beyond dire. Thought Burgess lifted the team when he came on and seemed to go ok.



Karl Pryce looked good to me, either that or we couldn't be d to tackle him. Reading about him in the program, maybe he finally got his head in the right place and is going to show his potential. Maybe.

Well we won. Another five mins and I think we could have blown it. To give some credit we lost L'Estrange late on as well as Platt and Scruton this week, two of our most in form players. Burgess looked powerful and fit in well, Kopczack had another great game, always making extra metres. The first half was like pulling teeth but we finally managed to pass instead of five drives and a kick. Can we not let someone else kick for touch instead of Herbert? Surely Addy or Sykes could make more ground?

Tweaked his ankle apparently. Looked to be walking ok though, so hopefully nothing too serious.

We were always going to struggle with no Heath and only one recognised halfback. Despite the fact that Briggs was injured, he was never going to play in this match anyway. Why Potter is not playing him I do not know, but for large periods of this match we seemed content with just 5 drives and a kick. When you are relying on people like Hargreaves to put people through holes, you are in trouble.

Fortunately for us, Quins were even worse than we were today. A performance like that against a decent side and we would have lost by 20 or 30 points. Not good enough.

Heath possibly came back too early from the ligament damage to his ankle, rest him and get him back for Easter weekend as after watching Leeds v Wigan and seeing the Warrington v catalans score we need to be in top shape and full strength.



Gutted about Briggs. Also how bear is raynor to getting back?

We looked poor today very flat, mostly just one out rugby. Looks like weve signed a dud in Marc Herbert, no way is he a 7, poor kicker and doesnt release the ball at times when he should, he does some nice inside passes every now and then but overall he looks poor. Pluses today for me were Kopzcak, Olbison and Burgess who did well and never took a backwards step.

Duds don't usually get 5 assists in their first 4 games.



He's no world beater, but we definitely look a better side with him on the pitch.
