I know playing Leeds is always a cup final for Bulls fans, but why was MM 2007 a massive game?

Because it was the first MM game, would have been excellent to win our first one. The other 2 are bigger though.

The 99 and 02 GFs were perfectly correctly refereed. The 07 involved a cock up but was a game the Bulls shouldn't have been in anyway due to a previous refereeing error.

Also 99 was a debatable decision. Many fans from teams such as Leeds and even Saints have said that it wasn't a knock on. Others have the opinion that it was which fair play to them as it was a difficult decision.



02 was reffed well until the final minute when Joynt dived on the floor just inside the halfway mark. We left him for several seconds, the ref failed to give us a penalty (which it should have been). Henry Paul would have had a very good go (probably kicked the 2) as he kicked them from halfway regularly which would have give us a 20-19 win.

I'm fully aware of the circumstances - dear God I lived through the original JVT thread. That, as does this, proved only that Bullies retain a long but misguided grudge. Ha ha, that 's a laugh. Russ never gave us anything that wasn't at least a 70/30 in our favour, [iever[/i; we never got a 50/50 that's for sure. I don't think he would have given us the time of day to be honest.



He used to play on the wing for us and he spent his entire refereeing career determined to prove that he wasn't going to give us anything because of it. Mission accomplished, Russ!
