When was the last time he completed a successful one-on-one defensive tackle?
It's a serious question. Kearney offers a fair bit on attack, but his defence is woeful. If he gets exposed one on one with an attacker they simply go round him like he isn't there. Even Chris Tuson sidestepped past him with ease... |

Nobody else is even worth mentioning. I was on a corporate yesterday with a few mates a couple of which have no affinity to a club just enjoy watching Rugby League. They were really impressed with how koppy went in the tri nations so took it upon themselves to keep a close on him yesterday. Without going into any detail I think it's fair to say they would be amazed to see him listed in anyone's top 3 on that performance yesterday. I know he wasn't the only one as non of the pack stood up but I think Koppy was very disappointing yesterday.

He isn't a good defensive FB, if the line is broke I don't have a heap of confidence in him making the tackle. But he was our best player in attack yesterday IMO, hence why he got my vote. If Kear had been similarily threatening in attack I could undersrand him getting votes. I thought Sammut did a lot pretty looking running without actually getting anywhere. Aside for his well taken try... what did he do? The two failed kicks to touch were nothing short of embarassing, and put the team under huge amounts of unnecessary pressure. But hey we're all entitled to an opinion. |

Koppy was playing for Wales and at the moment they are better than bulls!!! koppy can only do so much, yesterday he was solid and showed class alongside his poor team mates in particular the 4 other props out there yesterday |

I appreciate he can only do so much and only my opinion. He seemed to have a long first stint which probably did not help his impact yesterday but he was no better than the rest of the so called pack. |
