I think our second scored by Danny Williams is one the best of the season.

I watched all the live TV games on sky and there wasn't another try to touch that one, imo. The nearest to Williams' try was the Danny Addy one, which was also a cracker..

Yes I watched them again last night and considering Clare got the ball a yard off our try line with very little room on the outside he did very very well



Still think Addy's was a touch better though ha. Thought the easier option for Olbison would of to give early ball to Nielson on his outside but obviously he chose the better option and perfect inside ball at pace, which wasn't easy,to Addy

I reckon he chose Addy for the pass as Neilson was cream crackered and probably wouldn't have got there.

Thought at time he was going to give it neilson but Salford player obviously considered Nielson the bigger threat and was watching him closely. Great that he had options and two players supporting the play.

He's done that before in games, charge in to get the defenders set then stop and pass before the line.

Not saying we're anywhere near their class, but it's a tactic that Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs often use. Graham runs at the line with another prop supporting, both draw in a couple of defenders, and then Graham passes out the back to Reynolds. It's a very effective way of creating space out wide as defenders don't expect props to pass.



Considering Lauaki takes a few men to put down, once he's drawn and passed out the back, we're already starting to create gaps in other areas for quick players like Mullaney to exploit.

All I'm sayin is you can't call out any player for not doing whatever job Jimmy had given them, after that performance. Lauaki was part of the team that did it, and you have to assume he did what Jimmy asked. We did what most said wasn't possible, not just beat but slaughtered a SL club, and that's a situation where you have to give the benefit of any doubt to each player that was part of it.

On Lauaki, i think he is worth keeping and when he is on form he is very good, quick feet for a big man with some speed to boot, always seems to be looking for a gap
