I started following Northern in 62 and was heartbroken when they folded in Nov 63, but the sheer anticipation of a new team being materialised then as now made me look forward and not back at the times. The only time that came close to that was in 95 when Brian Smith took over and built a new side, every day seemed to have new news re signings etc. I now look forward to a new beginning and will definitely be there. Good to see a number of positive responses on here but we need a lot more(another 200 pages perhaps!!) - I know that's pie in the sky but hey ho. Having supported the Bulls(Northern) for some 30 odd years I couldn't even contemplate not supporting the new club so I'll be there come hell or high water. Hopefully the new owners will honour the season tickets already purchased - if not I shall have to get another.

I'm in. It's not until it's gone that you realise what it means to you. We need a siege mentality, we need to forge a united team, the players and the fans. It's us against the world.



Yes, we have no players. Yes, we have the odds stacked against us massively. But we can get out there and scrap and fight for every single point. If the team we manage to pull together get out there and give it everything then I will be right behind them.

Going go be a heartbreaking season seeing Moss rip it up and our young academy sign for others. All our hard work gone. Guess we have to start again for the third time.

I'll go if I am not working! Otherwise my money would be spent on beer (may as well drink whilst watching the rugby) and my time would be spent watching questionable material on the internet so this is a much better use of my time







In all seriousness, I love the game too much and for 21 years I have been going, for the past 6-7 it's been a social with my granddad who I love spending time with. So, long may this continue.

I'm weary but I'm sure I will get to some home games this year. Will I be following home & away and rushing out to sign up to a season ticket.. probably not. I think I probably need a little bit of a break to try and find my love for the sport and the club. If we see some positive progress in the weeks and months ahead, who knows?



As things stand, I can't honestly say I'm excited about the season ahead though I am very pleased the club has a new owner.
