Had performances as bad and worse than that in and amongst all year and still pulled some wins out. I suspect we'll get a win and maybe two out of the last three games.

We have been saying that for the last four seasons mate.

The weird thing is, if you watch the first half and stop there, without knowing the final result, you'd say our tackling chasing and enthusiasm was great, that we seemed to have most of the answers, and were dominating the opposition. Whitehead was great, Lynch superb, Ah Van, throwing his weight in all over, Addy a thorn in their side, all in all we looked comfortably the better and more motivated team.



Which makes what happened in the second half all the more mystifying.

Easy. Penalty does not find touch, and those switches in their heads all click at once.



Just need now to find where those switches are, and superglue the buggers so they can't switch any more...



If there ever was a need for a sports psychologist, surely it is now?

Are there any readily available and reasonably priced substances, perhaps, that they could take?

The lack of direction in attack and the fragile moral are both down to the same thing - leadership on the pitch. We don't have enough of it and in the right positions. I'm hoping some of the signings we've got are improvements but so far we've not added any real leaders.

Yep. We lacked leadership all over yesterday. When things got tough it needed players to step up and nobody did really. There's plenty of talk off the field but nobody actually follows it up where it matters.

Aye. Once the heads go down, it is not a pretty sight.
