To be fair it is a bit naughty, you'd be a bit peed off if you'd just kitted out the family 2 hours before. I assume it was planned so why not advertise it beforehand. Yes. I was stood in the middle of the popular side with plenty of space around me. I arrived with five minutes to go before kick off and immediately texted a friend to say the crowd was going to be embarrassing. And it was. We're only 50% higher than Huddersfield, which frankly is appalling.

Game which could be close and high scoring and "fans" cba tuning up, the 10k fans we always get seem like a pipe dream now. I made the effort from bolton and i was on call so i risked it just so i could be there, so unless 5k people had to go to work i really (doubt it), Hulls kr didnt bring truck loads but its not up to them to help us sell out

I'm hopeful that Kate Hardcastle has some ideas on how to market the club and hopefully boost the crowds. Perhaps the positive is we're getting an ok crowd with very little marketing in evidence.

Fwiw, for all that the 10,000+ crowds of the past few years were probably inflated above the actual figure (due to all season ticket holders being counted) the spaces between people on the pop' side were very marked yesterday. It's a long time since I've seen it like that. Something else is happening here.
