Not only all of that but as someone else has already pointed out, Jeffries is the guy who has been training in the halves all through the pre-season. It would be pretty illogical to change other positions around when it clearly isn't necessary. If the coach thought a change was needed at FB then that would be different, but I doubt that's the case.

From what I understand. Jefferies/sammut. But neither are great communicators/organisers and both don't have great kicking games. Are we going to struggle for field position and organisation?... We'll see I suppose. COYB

BJ isn't a bad kicker on his day and he can organise the side. He probably won't do it consistently for 8 weeks though!!

Not sure about that...BJ didn't really do a good job of either last year

He did in patches. The pack need to give him half a chance though, unlike a lot of last year. He isn't the type of player who can just magic up a special winning play.

He has shown in the past that can do it for one game. The problem with Jefferies is that he tends to be awful for the next 5-6 games afterwards. Going on past form Jefferies will have a blinder tonight against his old club then disappear until Luke Gale returns.

Hopefully Sammut and BJ will strike up a decent partnership. BJ is the better kicker of the two for sure, he just needs to find a level of consistency
