If there is more to it though, they need to say so. At the moment, they're not coming across in a good light. If there's other reasons, say there are, so that people realise that and get off their back. As it stands, they look like a terrible employer where everyone is walking on eggshells in case they make a mistake and lose their job.

One would expect that the players "tweets" will also shortly be regulated. Some of the language is pretty poor, and given the age of some of the players followers, you would hope that this would also be addressed if they are not going to be seen as giving certain people preferential treatment or casting a blind eye to it.



If there is more to the dismissal, then the club should indicate this is the case. However, if it is purely all about a couple of tweets, then I'm sure the guy who was removed can pull off SEVERAL of the players tweets that could be deemed to be bringing the club or game into disrepute

Was he winning too many friends? Therefore did someone at the club feel threatened by this? It seems that, from this thread and others, that the chap was impressing an awful lot of people so this does seem to be a bit OTT to me. As you will know, I rely heavily on the club shop for my merchandise and deal mostly on the phone. Chris was easily the best employee either at the shop, or the club, that I had ever dealt with.



It seems the good vibes are not all mine too....



Why then would an employee be dismissed for merely posting a pic saying "We 8 Rhinos"? And why is there someone out there so bloody touchy that they feel they have to complain about it? I hope that this humourless no-mark is proud of themselves.

Joke scenario.

If he was sacked for we 8 rhinos then I personally would consider the club to be behaving very poorly indeed. However, the man himself appears to suggest on twitter that actually that's just an excuse and there are other reasons.

If so then it would be nice to know what they are.



Also, if there ARE other reasons, why would the club choose this particular "excuse" rather than tell the actual whole story, given how this "excuse" makes them look very petty indeed.



I do also wonder if all of this was stimulated from the much maligned 25% off deal after the Hull KR game?

He wasnt happy with this, as was unfair to majority of the fans who had already spent full money on merchandise - and his belief was it isnt how you should treat the main support for the club,



Sounds to me like although his opinions were accurate and correct the hierarchy didnt like it

So one one hand they've reacted absurdly to we 8 thinos or on the other hand they've made up a petty excuse to cover the real reason. So unless anyone has a third other hand, the Bulls look daft.

I also assume that the club were more than happy to accept the money from the cost of the shirt printing too? Therefore they will happily take the coin but then try and act all innocent?
