Theres an interview of FC on the sky sports news app, guess it'll be on the website too. First impressions he does seem to have an air of confidence and authority.
Not upset with the 3 year deal either, with the current circumstances 3 years seems a fair amount of time for a coach to stabilise the team and begin working to the play offs.

Interesting, I thought Walker had a pretty good last 6 or seven games for us to be honest. He won't be on mega money and you'll get 110% from the guy guaranteed. I don't expect there will be a lot left to choose from for next year and like you say he adds a bit of experience to what is looking like it could be a pretty youthful pack. Worth a 1 year deal for the right money IMO. |

Can probably think of a couple who when fledgling managers, didn't have it, but developed it, but to be honest not many. Seems to me you are either a born leader of men or you're not. If you're not then I don't think you can be a great RL coach.

Yeah, it's funny that. Smithy exhibits very few of those 'essential' interview qualities, but is undoubtedly a quality coach. |
