If Wigan & hull played the best Cc ever in 85. Is this the worst.



It's probably the worst cc completion ever and the final just confirms what what a dead duck of a comp it is nowadays.

It is pretty naff isnt it, if we are unable to complete a set because it is raining, god help us against the Aussies and Kiwi's

Hull = clueless

Played in front of a big pile of empty seats. It's been a poor day all round.

Yes awful, hull can't do basics right and their attack is pitiful. Wigan have been average, with all the ball they've had they should be all out of sight. The weather doesn't help but I have seen plenty of superb games in the rain.



Poor all round!

It has been awful. I don't think that means it's a dead duck of a competition though. I think most Leeds players will be gutted that they never managed to add a CC winners medal to their collections of SL rings.

CC Finals were rubbish and far worse during the pre-SL era when hardly anyone turned up to watch them.

Was suppose to be the final that showed the orld and the country that rugby league is a great sport, its had the opposite effect in my eyes.

Just because its been poor game doesn't mean the game is doomed btw. I can remember many football finals being total garbage...

It was never going to be high on skill with the rain. But the amount of dropped ball from Hull has ruined it. After 40 minutes it just takes away any expectation of Hull getting anywhere with ball in hand.



For me it was there for Hull to win as Wigan have hardly been cutting edge either. But it happens. Great defense on show, but that's not what most people want to see.



I don't see the point in crowing about it though? Has no reflection on the game as it's not been anything like a normal game.
