Was the strangest appointment for Cas. Appointing a coach with a history of dour rugby was very odd.

Far too pally with his players and he hasn't learned, standards slipped massively at Hull after 2017 then he signed several of the same players for Cas??

As I said on the Leeds board; Cas were dreadful on Friday night. It was typical Radford, a plodding forward coached team. His Hull coached team were the same, but they had the remnants of a quality squad with the individual brilliance to pull off big game victories with un-planned moments of flare. Without Mamo, & with McShane off after a few minutes, Cas had nothing but Miller running round in desperation. Hopefully Last won't won't last.

Widdop was crap but I don't blame him for the overall performance.

Powell didn't or hasn't



Michael Maguires wigan were a boring side with wrestling etc but got results

We averaged 860 points a season under Madge. We were far from dire.

Boring* should of been the word



But point still remains he won and radford did



Powell hasn't yet apart from a dinner plate which means nowt if you fail the play offs

Boring yet scored a pan load of points.

I feel sorry for him. He coached a team to a World Cup final but had to work with championship level players at cas.



I also have a soft spot for him after he absolutely leathered Ryan Bailey to the point ryan Bailey, bleeding profusely, waited until all his team mates were in front of him before shouting “hold me back”
