| Looks like a 5 figure crowd easily for Cats v Hull KR in Toulouse.
Perhaps more significantly there is a banner in the ground reading 'Super League 2015 here we come! - Toulouse Olympique'
-and apparently Toulouse are hearing about whether their SL application is accepted this month.
Interesting times.

That would be very interesting if they're accepted and the league is reduced to 12, which 3 current teams get the boot?

Can we only get rid of 3?

| Of the current lot? London, Cas and Salford are the most obvious picks.

No, as the most famous club in the world, perhaps Wigan will be given the option of removing two further clubs. May I suggest Leeds & Warrington?
Yep get Toulouse in I say & maybe in another ten years the French national side will prove a worthy opponent to G.B which I presume was the original remit when Catalan were given the green light.

When have Halifax, Featherstone or any other current Championship club ever attracted even half that number? (Answer: never)
Moreover when has such a crowd been attracted to a rugby league match by visiting teams? (Answer: when Catalans and Warrington played in Barcelona).

| Great crowd there this evening and they were treated to a good game. I would be interested to know how many were there from the Toulouse area and what they paid to get in.
Based on the history of French rugby league I am all for supporting Toulouse in their application, good luck to them.

Noted and correction to my OP has been made.
This should seal the deal for Toulouse getting a SL licence.
I just hope that something can be done to save the woeful London Broncos. London vs Toulouse is, to the uninitiated sports fan, flipping through his TV guide, even more mouthwatering than Leeds vs Toulouse or Wigan vs Toulouse.
In any case, Toulouse in SL can be a winner on many criteria.
