When have Halifax, Featherstone or any other current Championship club ever attracted even half that number? (Answer: never)



Moreover when has such a crowd been attracted to a rugby league match by visiting teams? (Answer: when Catalans and Warrington played in Barcelona).

Great crowd there this evening and they were treated to a good game. I would be interested to know how many were there from the Toulouse area and what they paid to get in.



Based on the history of French rugby league I am all for supporting Toulouse in their application, good luck to them.

I just hope that something can be done to save the woeful London Broncos. London vs Toulouse is, to the uninitiated sports fan, flipping through his TV guide, even more mouthwatering than Leeds vs Toulouse or Wigan vs Toulouse.



In any case, Toulouse in SL can be a winner on many criteria.
