I did think Silverwood was very very poor in his bossing of the ruck. Im not saying he favoured melbourne or anything like that but i thought he was poor.



I would also say that Silverwood shouldnt be the target, the problems we have in officiating in this country come from the very top and its Cummings who needs to go

Like it or lump it that game was nearly decided on a ref being pedantic and not being able to realise what it means to professional athletes. Sad to think that a game like that could have been decided because the ref isn’t man enough to take a bit of name calling.



The ref was poor tonight and you could see the frustration in the players on both sides. If Senior gets punished for this then it’s another case of covering up the unfortunate truth that the refs in this country just aren’t good enough.

Hefty fine coming his way.



If there's one thing true about the RFL, it is that they defend their officials to a fault.



And sometimes it is quite literally to a fault.

I don't think he was pedantic. We should be proud in Rugby League of the respect the officials get. Don't want it to turn into football like Wayne Rooney spouting off all the time.



Senior's comments are of a bitter sore loser. He should question himself rather than the referee.

The game was played under International Rules, not SL rules or NRL rules, hence it being a different interpretation at the play the ball. You even heard him mention it during the game to the players.

It would be very interesting if Silverwood has admitted he decided to interpret the same rules differently for one specific match
