i never saw any trouble after the game and tbh the atmosphere outside the ground was very low key,the vast majority of cas fans headed back to where the coaches were parked and very little was said or spoken.



the leeds fans were also very quiet considering they had just won to get to wembley but i think they could also sence that goading wasnt the right thing to do considering how diassapointed the cas fans were.



inside the ground the cas fans were magnificent has quoted by kevin sinfield and backed the team with tremendous vocal support which has gone unnoticed by the op but then again some folk will do anything to have a moan and look to bring a club down.

Apologies I didnt intend to accuse or portray all Cas fans as I am sure the vast majority behaved like the majority of RL fans.



However there were some rather abusive fans who were extremely intimidating - this was outside the Polypipe stand just after the game.



My 1st reaction was that I was very glad I didnt bring my 4 year old newphew, which is not the type of thought I would ever want attending an RL match.

From both sets of supporters- if you're going to tell stories at least tell it from both points of view.



For no apparent reason some vastly over-weight Leeds fan decided to shout at me that I "was only F*ck*ng jealous" because he was going to Wembley (Not sure if any children were around, but my girlfriend was)......turns out he was wrong, as I'm going to Wembley anyway (unsure who I am supporting as yet as I'm not keen on either team)- I wouldn't put too much cash on him going to Wembley though, three weeks is a long time and a lot a strain on a heart pumping blood around an ox that size!!



From what I have heard there were no punches thrown and no arrests (2 people went onto the playing field of which none were cautioned) so the police can't of been too concerned about the fan rivalry.

The same stand i was in and the same stand i walk out of 5 mins after the penalty was taken.

I saw no trouble physical or verbal apart from one young lad with glasses on who was by himself.

He seemed to have had a few to many and was giving the leeds fans some verbal.

In saying that half dozen loiners were giving him it back verbally and with the middle finger.



Both cas and leeds fans walked back to there buses which must have been close together cos we all walked the same way. No problems what so ever. Infact the loiners looked subdued and you would have thought they had lost the game. Of cause some are gonna go OTT all teams have them sort of supporters. Passions were running high and all us cas fans were so frustrated with the result, no excuse for causing trouble, but some just cant control there emotions. And sport is all about emotion/passion. Take that away and it would be boring.

Just looks like another case of "let's make things about Cas fans up"...like a Wakey fan who said a Wakefield fan was jumped on Wheldon Road after the game, only he out of the thousands of people on the road happened to see it and he didn't report it.







Now no, don't be using facts when there's a chance to make things up about Cas.



Just wait from Smokey to come along now and say something about Gareth Thomas for some reason that only he knows why.



Here is the question though - if it was as bad, as you try and make it out why didn't the police do anything? Sounds like someone was being overly precious if the police didn't see fit to intervene at any point.

Well ill give some factual evidence then. Walking into the ground we had 4 children in our group......aged from 4 up to 7. They were singing come on you fords etc etc as we walked down. A man in a Rhinos shirt about 50ish decided to call our children f##ki## inbred c u next tuesdays!!!! He was in a group of 5 and the woman of the group had a right go at him aswell as all the adults in our group. Quite frankly he is lucky i didn't smack him in the face tbf and I'm a woman!!



You will see i didnt call the said person a Leeds FAN - because people like him are a disgrace to the game! We all have them as clubs though and I take offence to the OP making sweeping generalisations about us as cas fans. When making a post like that be careful to give a balanced view!! If you think Leeds don't have people that are idiots then you are blinkered! This wasn't the first time my kids have suffered abuse from Rhinos but i still dont say all Rhinos are the same!!!



Tbh I didnt expect how gracious the Leeds fans were and have been so for those of you that took your victory so graciously I applaud you

I saw one cheap shot punch by a cas fan the leeds fans where heading one way past the side stand to go towards the hills and the lake and the cas fans coming the other. Some guy must have been early 40s punched a leeds fan totally unprovoked then made a run for it. on the flip side i was speaking to a cas fan walking back around to where the vue cinema and doncaster dome is and hed been punched by a leeds fan for apparently no reason. Police where sorting something outside the main side stand too on the grass not quite sure what went off there. you could quite clearly tell allot of the cas fans where gutted but they should realise its just a game and not resort to abuse and violence.

So what do you say to the Leeds fan who resorted to violence when he punched the Cas fan?
