If England hadn't gone for so long without winning a tournament with Australia and New Zealand in it I would have said Rovers winning the Grand Final but as I would like to see England win something just once in my lifetime then I have to say England.

If it was in front of 90K at Wembley in an Ashes decider then I would probably say England but in front of 20k at Wigan for some 4nations cup then I'd take the GF win!

I think this is a pretty silly question really, seeing as they are not mutually exclusive outcomes.



I want Leeds and England to do well every year, why should there be a conflict? Perhaps the clubs could do more together to help make England successful but that's a different issue.

I'd rather see Saints win the GF this year.......... because we've lost 4 in a row, and I'm not convinced that England winning the Four Nations would make that much difference to RL's media profile in this country.



If however you ask me the same question in 2013 ............ then I'd take England winning the RL World Cup, because I believe that would make some waves in the minds of the general public and the media.

International success has been the catalyst for real change in the profile of several sports in this country in recent years... hockey, cycling, rowing, rugby union etc. Hell, even curling has had its place in the sun. I want some of that action for the sport that I love
