Looks like they'll have to sell off a few players. Tom Burgess, Elliott Whitehead, Bateman... Can't see the club keeping hold of these if they need to raise money.

This is all from a club which was one of the concrete "big four" not long back. A spectacular fall from grace and not one which is healthy for our game or good for any club.

I am not saying I am, I just remember been in this position last year and lots of people saying this and that, and again when we gained our licence it was merely a throw away comment.



As a side note if they do not go in to admin will this still be taken in to account when discussing the licences as even though it was not one of the factors this time when the RFL commented on us gaining a position they still said they had to comment on the situation

Burgess and Whitehead to Hull, Adam Pearson can get his checkbook out and gives you £400,000. Bradford stay in business. Sounds good to me.

What licence grade did they receive last year? Didn't the RFL look at their projected financial performance as part of the licence process?

I understand, but you should've just rose above it. Wakefield have come out of this strong, you don't need to play that game or be bitter about them.

This is a very serious dereliction of duty and a clear failure of the franchise system to spot a problem.



Last year Wakefiield were touch and go and rightly so - we went bust and the RFL refused to support us and rightly so - yet at the same time the Bulls must have been well in the mire and lying through there back teeth. They then got RFL support which was massive and should have been enough, it clearly wasn't - even the RFL are not that stupid and have clearly had the wool pulled over there eyes. Worst of all the Bulls seem to have made no attempt to cut there cloth in the last few month. It's like they feel entitled to be bailed out by the RFL and now their fans.



Sympathy for the fans not the club - the club should take the pain and we will have Burgess for starters as I believe that's how it works these days!

Not pleasant news. It's a terrible feeling when this happens to your club. Hope you can pull out of it. We where in a similar position not so long ago, I would'nt wish it on anybody. Good luck.

If they go into admin they won't get any money from the sale of players - all clubs will wait until they are in admin, no one is going to pay for players who will be free of charge in 4 weeks time.

They'll still be in SL next season. Bit of a non-story really.

So lets look at this from a historical point of view, 12 months ago the Bulls were in serious debt , had borrowed massively off the RFL and were clearly unsusstainable as a SL club, the RFL must have been aware of this as they were part of the debt



And they were given a licence?



So was it incompetance? , or corruption?



If I was the Halifax BOD this morning I would be rather upset with the character assassination carried out on my club by the governing body in the light of this situation

Three super league clubs in serious trouble over the last 12months or so suggests they don't.
