Actually, the best way to help the French is to bang a few heads together over there and get the often mentioned elite PROFESSIONAL competition complete with whopper TV deal sorted out. Adding another French side to SL will do little to assist France at an international level....remind me again how Catalans have boosted them over the last 8 seasons

Wellington got close to 30k for the warriors OTR game last year....we'd do well to average 30% of that in the NRL. OTR games are not a good indicator of long term development....if they were we'd have a SL team in Leicester.

How so? Catalans are a great addition to the comp but they have delivered little to SL other than a warm weather away trip for fans and added expense for teams......Toulouse need to work their way into the competition, just like everyone else will have to.
