Just looked at the draw there and its a good chance that Fiji will play France in the quarters. Italy on the other hand will have to play NZ if they can get out of their group.



There will be some interesting battles outside the big three, just like the last world cup.



Especially looking forward to France, Samoa and PNG fighting it out in group B.

without too much reflection you have missed Kevin Larroyer & Antony Maria as well as Greenshields who will be available if he can find an NRL side for next year (otherwise he will retire) - then there's Bemba from ASC with maybe a few others in the pipeline ie Kriouache at TO who looks a really good prospect



regarding 4th place - depends on how the draw works out - will they be 4th at the WC or will they be 4th ranked in the world are two different matters

Will happen more when the nrl gravy train dries up.

Both those countries would be better taking a leaf out of Fiji's books rather than relying on eligible kiwis. I thought the mix of local Fijians and Fijian nrl players last WC worked very well for them.

The France v Fiji match will be massive! (if it turns out that way, group B is by far the most exciting looking, though England Fiji will be interesting too)

Are they televising every game?

Will Pelo be available to France now hes back?

TV deal still in the pipeline.....if they could get a FTA deal it would be brilliant.....

well, he's eligible but whether he gets picked is another matter - he's not exactly well respected within the french heirachy after his antics a few years back

forgot about Dane Chisholm too !

I imagine Fiji or one of the other Island nations will take 4th spot.
