| Biff dealt with correctly. Crosby's tackle, whatever the intention, should have been a ban. Needs to be a clear red light against lifting the legs and tipping post-McKinnon.

| Leeds fan reacting differently due to a lost compared to a win, Wigan fans wouldn't do such a thing!
P.S. Does anybody remember the 2010 playoffs when Leeds won at the DW and Leeds were filth and McGuire deserved death? Then remember when Wigan won the return 2 weeks later and they were just celebrating a great performance and a return to Old Trafford.
Something about pots and kettles springs to mind.

| How can there be no charges? From reading this thread, Michael McIllorum is lucky not to be charged with attempted murder according to some fans on here.

Agreed. The fact that Hall landed on his back is irrelevant IMO, there is absolutely no need at all for Crosby to deliberately tip a player who is already in the process of being tackled it needs stamping out of the game no after what club is involved.
Anyway I do hope now the Wigan fans seem to have a new found faith in the disciplinary panel, that they will accept their judgement as correct for the rest of the season

The only thing MM should be charged with is stupidity, the yellow for the high shot was clearly sufficient.

I think you should let your guide dog write your next contribution, Peacock didn't take a backward step all game and was itching to be first carrier in after the 'bother'.

Quote Father Ted="Father Ted"This thread "Dirty Wigan" was started by a Leeds fan minutes after the end of the game in which Leeds lost.
Why wasn't started two weeks ago when the two teams met and Wigan lost?
Perhaps due to that fact, Wigan lost!
'"
Funny you should say that since I actually posted on the Wigan forum two weeks ago about the dirty & overly niggly play from Wigan at Headingley that night. You won't find the post though since it was removed by the trigger happy monkeys that moderate the Wigan board.
You will find a thread full of similar thoughts on the Leeds board though.

| There are a few things on this thread that perplex me...
1) The insistence that Wigan were only giving Leeds a taste of their own medicine - any specific examples that you can cite of this, or is it more of the vague and generally unsubstantiated McGuire/Bailey/Ablett is the dirtiest player about sort of nonsense?
2) The denial of many Wigan fans that a lot of what went on is simply unacceptable. Could Dudson have complained if he'd been sin binned for a late, off the ball shoulder charge to the back of a player? Or if Crosby had been sent off for his stupidity? Or your captain for getting ten for going high 10 seconds after the ref had called for calm?
3) The weird superiority complex of some on here because some Leeds fans (not all by a long stretch) have issues with the way Wigan went about the game. Two weeks ago Shaun Wane was bitching about refereeing decisions and on Saturday he went downstairs bleating that it wasn't fair - but you lot have the high ground because some Leeds fans don't have the same class as our coach and players?
At the end of the day it was a close game that either side could have won. Wigan fans will rightly applaud the resilience shown by their team - but that doesn't make complaints about the legitimacy of some of their tactics invalid, and to brush any complaint away and dismiss them all as bitterness or sour grapes is to ignore the failings your team has. With a different referee there could easily have been a couple of red cards, and that's the risk Wigan will continue to run until it happens, and based on incidents this year it will happen. Similarly, with a different outcome we could have been seeing footage of McGuire and Hall stretchered off with serious injuries, I don't care who you support, but if you think that those two incidents are acceptable, or just 'part of the game' then IMO you don't really support rugby league.
