I wouldn't celebrate yet, who knows what times or days PS will want us to play

complete with a round up of results and a preview of the weekends up coming matches instead , it would provide some coverage , without affecting attendances and therefore finances of clubs



And probably be a whole lot cheaper to produce

It wont be Thursday as they show non league footie then. Might be Sunday nights.

Just checked and this season they are showing a mix of Friday and Thursday night for non league footie.



So it could well be Thursdays

Looking at some of the earlier posts, its almost as if people don't want the Championships to become a reputable competition in its own right.

Sunday evenings would be good so we get fri, sat, sun

I will presume you are a SL club fan



Would you be happy having your clubs biggest matches played mid week for no financial recompense from SKY ?



Ie NO SKY money , no 1.2 million a year

Means you can charge a lot more to your sponsors though, instead of reaching 2-4 thousand they will be reaching almost 20 times that number of people and potentially across the country.

Except in the lower leagus most sponsorship is done from love rather than common business sense , look at the sponsors , most are very local business that dont get a return on their investement even if their club was featured on TV every week



I doubt more than a handful would pay any more for the TV coverage



In fact many are sponsored by club owners like up at Barrow , DJ Recruitment , in recent years Arthur Thomas's compnaies have sponsored Leigh , does Eric France really get ' tons ' more scrap to his yards by having his name on the dewsbury shirt ?
