Just to be clear it's £2 through Sky or £7.99 direct from Premier? If you get it through Sky do you have to have some sort of Sky Sports package? cos I got rid of mine

It's a totally different subscription to your Sky package; the payment is made directly to Premier Sports and the last time I subscribed, there was no minimum contract, so I cancelled it as soon as the NRL season finished and will be re-subscribing soon, in time for round 1.



The only downside is that it's not in HD and can appear quite grainy - I upgraded to a fancy dan TV recently and perversely, that seemed to make it even worse; I guess HD might come later if they get sufficient numbers of people signing up.



All in all though, terrific value, if not especially good for marital harmony; 1 live game, 2 Sky games and 3-4 NRL games per weekend tested the bread knife's patience somewhat.

At £2 it's a hell of a lot cheaper than the SRL from sky sports and you get more games per week. Not bothered that it isn't in HD and might be a bit grainy. I'm guessing all I have to do is contact sky and ask them to switch premier sports on?

As previously stated it £7.99 per month (which works out at approx £2 per week), totally seperate to Sky. No need to have any Sky subscription just a Sky receiver, dish and viewing card (you can get the card from Premier).

do they still charge a connection fee?

No, I have no sky subscription and just signed up for premier who sent me a card.

How does that work if you just go for the 12 month one off price thing? Do you get an additional discount?

I will be subscribing to Premier sports again for this coming season . £7.99 is a great price for the amount of games shown . They charged me 2 extra months last year after I cancelled in September so I will be after two free months at least.
