| Wardle plays for scotland along with Brough.
Also he is viewed in the long term as being a 2nd rower... last few games he has switched due to ferris being out injured.
At centre the winger doesnt get much service from wardle as hes not the best passer... but he runs very very hard, misses quite a few tackles too though

| Why are powerful centres converted to back row?
Nathan brown was obsessed with it. Wardle, Lawrence (Hudds), Jones (saints) off the top of my head have all been converted to back row when they could be excellent centres.

| Cudjoe is usually rock solid, and did not look out of place against the Aussies in the world cup, if he can get his best form back he is up there with the best - and has the ball handling a top centre needs too
Wardle is good, but can be soft in defence at times - his stats are similar to Watkins though

| Watkins and Sarginson must be in pole position. Watkins is the stand out centre in superleague and Sarginson was excellent last year in the four nations. His form has really got going these past few weeks and his nightmare against Bridge was a one off blip IMO.
Watkins and Sarginson first choice with one of Jack Reed or Percival backing them up IMO.

You must watch a different Cudjoe to the one that I do as his ball handling is awful. He can't throw a simple pass out and tries ridiculous basketball style flicks instead.

Watched plenty of him over the years, the difference is I don't watch him through rose tinted glasses. next you'll be saying Brough and Crabtree are international quality.

| I would have thought Percival will very shortly knocking on the international door, excellent natural centre just needs a good run of games know to shop window his talents, one for the future sooner than later.

| Watching Cudjoe on Thursday against Leeds gave me cold sweats! Not only at the thought of him playing for England again but how he ever did in the first place. He just doesn't look for his winger! The amount of times he could get his winger in half a yard yet decides to shuffle in with the ball himself is shocking.
Average winger IMO.

I take it you are party to Andersons game plans??? Please do share.
If you look at sarginson and Cudjoes stats they are pretty similar - but Leroy gets through twice as much defensive work. He is a right centre though- not a left.

| Percival is the best young centre in the country by a mile. Only Watkins betters him and that won't be for long.
Watkins has 8 tries and 5 assists in 12 matches.
For those in a differing universe that believe Sarginson is even worthy of being mentioned in the same breath, he has 3 tries and 5 assists in 10.
Percival has 4 tries and 6 assists in 6 games. Basically, he's scored more and created more than Sarginson in a third fewer matches. Had he been fit all season, he'd comfortably be the most creative centre in the league (only Gelling betters him with 8 assists) and probably top scoring centre as well.
Wardle doesn't have the passing game to be an international centre IMO.

| Ooh is this one of those threads where everyone says that a centre that plays for their club is the best and all others are rubbish?
I love these.
