But I agree with your post. Do they still do that 'ask Cummings' thing on Boots n All (Not watched it in years)? It would be good to get a referee's viewpoint/justification for that.



We watched it with a Wire fan or three and they weren't getting excited even when Carvell was on his crazed dash, they all spotted it in real time and were convinced when they replayed it. One of the replays in particular had the knock on count about on par with the scoreline at the time. The correct decision was a knock on against Roby and a scrum to Warrington.

As it was Ganson - maybe he was drunk?

He fully deserved the try in my opinion and it would have been a travesty if it was not given for whats was impossible to see which direction the ball was travelling and who it was hitting.

Yes, a shocking decision. The fact that the ref referred suggested he felt there was a problem. Having viewed it he was correct. How anyone could give a try (as good a run as it was from Carvell) mystifies me.

Apart from the fact that Carvell was facing the Saints line throughout? Silverwood had seen it but wanted to double check. I'm convinced Ganson just stumbled onto the wrong button in a drunken lunge at the girl delivering him a beef sandwich.
