Congratulations to Wigan. They were the best team throughout the season.

Yeah because most sports don't have a league system in which they play all the other teams home and away.











Too many artificial games (played some teams 4 times, some 3 times, others only twice?) to be deemed fair and accurate award - hence a playoff being justified.

Congrats to Wigan, the minor premiership in my eyes is still a trophy and although we all know they'd trade it for the Grand Final its still a trophy.

Probably because Wigan fans have been desperate for recognition of their success all season, from constantly barracking those who have made even the smallest criticism of Wigan to Odemwingie's embarrassing threads on other team's boards.



Congratulations Wigan. Deserved to finish top of the course of the season. I'm sure you will agree the hubcap will mean nowt if you don't get it done in the playoffs. FWIW I think it's as open as it's ever been going into the playoffs with Wigan's 1st seeding probably giving them the advantage at this stage.

well done on turning around last year with very little new blood this year.



Was hoping we would have won yesterday when we went in front but Wigan are the best team in the comp and deserve the minor premiers title.

Ian Lenegan is the real reason for the rise and rise in Wigan RL. He understands every area of business, how to market it and how to turn a profit. Can't fault the man for leaving us to by his home town team, but it does make you think what might have been at Twickenham if he hadn't
