How can you blame leeds united for that you clown, as a matter of fact i was at vicarage road today with a few thousand other leeds united fans and saw no trouble so how you can blame a [ufootball[/u club for something that happened at a=#FF0000 rugby game is beyond me. Your the type of person who thinks all football fans are inferior people to rugby fans. Has a football game in the recent history been abandoned due to crowd trouble like a rugby league game? Now you need to open your eyes because rugby crowds do have idiots and trouble does happen, i hope the authorities aren't like you and try and brush it under the carpet as 'football fans doing'. Open your eyes and get real.

Seem to remember problem with Leeds Fans when they had there first grand final win, there was also the problem with Hull fans many years ago......seem to be a common denominator here.

Me and bro were in the Leeds end and some fans were bit worked up about some Saints fans cheering on Warrington but it never progressed to any trouble.



We got our tickets ages ago from RFL website and had no idea what end we were gonna be in. Maybe the Leeds fans in the warrington end did the same thing.

Spoke to a safety steward the day after last years CC final and he said they'd had 73 ejections which was average (

) for rugby but still miles less than concerts or puffball..... 73 quite surprised me

That's been the norm for the past three years at Wembley.

Exactly, that type of thinking about football fans led to 96 peoples deaths at Hillsborough because that's exactly what South Yorkshire police thought. In fact can you imagine if the internet had been around when Hillsborough happened, within half an hour of the news breaking there would have been a 10 page thread on here with people bringing up Heysel and saying the Liverpool fans were scum, people always want to have their say before the facts come out.

There were loads of Leeds fans dotted around the Wire end and there was no trouble with them, just in that one pocket where it looked like some blokes were acting provocatively and throwing beer. Most people go as couples or families and are no bother, when you get groups of lads who are acting as though they are on a stag party then there's the potential for trouble, there were a few well meaning but completely off their heads Wire fans who were a bit annoying so I can imagine when they met their equivalents from Leeds in a bad mood there was the potential for a bit of handbags.

Always seems to be Leeds though....

So there's 85,217 fans, the majority probably having consumed a skin-full, including lots of 'big-chested' RL lads (the sort you see strutting around Wigan, St Helens, Warrington, and many other RL towns on a Saturday night), fans of dozens of different teams all sitting together, many hours to sink a load of beer and there's a couple of scuffles and 73 evictions?



Not a bad performance. We could do without the idiots looking to prove their manhood and playing up to their mates, but let's be grateful our sport can stage a huge event like this in such a manner.



Always bloody Wire though innit?!

Every time I go out on a night in town in Leeds, there's always s squaring up to each other, especially outside Oceana, Gatecrasher and Academy.



I reckon there must be an element of Leeds United fans who has got into the nightclubbing culture in Leeds! It won't be the students because they are too well bred to act up, I blame Leeds United fans!
