A previous poster has hit the nail on the head pretty much. I know season ticket holders who aren't going, purely because there's no novelty behind it for us anymore with what happened last year. Awful excuse for not going, but you can understand it, we've been in that many finals lately, they've lost their novelty, and people aren't willing to spend the money.

There have also been 2000 £41 tickets available for £21 from a certain online travel discounter. Would be p-d off if I'd paid full price...

Wow. That's a sad state and lame excuse. Good job our semi's aren't at Wembley like the FA Cup!



If you can't get excited for a cup final then sport really isn't your thing.

I understand that the game is nearing a sell out and that Wigan have been allocated and sold 9000 tickets that initially went to Leeds.

The game in Yorkshire is dead.

Theres still a bunch of tickets on a well known auction website, in pairs mainly for around a tenner a pop at the moment.

Given that Leeds were originally allocated 12,500 tickets and sold 6,000 in the first week they went on sale, I would suggest you understand incorrectly.

The pre-match entertainment is likely to sell the remaining tickets...
