I think Finch is the best player in the league right now, he would have been my MoM he tore us apart and laid a wonderful platform.

Nothing wrong with the second one. Plus Wigan arguably had a try chalked off by the VR that should have been given as BOD.

| The problem that Leeds have is that their pack (and a few others) aren't getting any younger. And, whilst there are star players in there, they don't seem to all be able to turn in top class games with the regularity that they once did (e.g. to me tonight Peackock looked like an old 'donkey' prop not a first choice front-line crack trooper!). Having said that, maybe they have another last hurrah in them for the playoffs? The problem is they've got to get into them first and, on that showing, that might be the hard part.

| Leeds still have some great individuals but their discipline is awful and they have no structure. Wigan were simply awesome.

| Strange that all those criticising Tomkins for kicking out at JJB have mentioned nothing of Lee Smith kicking Finch in the face. Not to mention the Bailey headbutt and the countless other all-too-common -house tactics employed by a losing Leeds side.

I think any Leeds fan who stayed to the end deserves a medal the size of a dustbin lid, not because of the dire performance but that pathetic bl**dy band in Southstand. How anyone can stand next to that I don't know.

Leeds' petulance is understandable. They are a struggling team and were getting battered. Their indiscretions were also (mostly) picked up by the referee or caused by a well known numpty in Bailey.
Tomkins' behaviour was just very odd from the start. He's playing really well, so why does he need to descend to those levels? What was the point for example of his unnecessary involvement on JJB that put the player in such a horrible position? Why did he feel the need to do that? If that act caused a serious knee injury to the Leeds player, which it could very easily have done, would Wane be happy if his best player was sitting out several weeks?
He's a world class player who is in danger of letting himself down because he can't help himself. He had done well in sorting the petulant side of his game out until today.

I'm sure you would. Would be a shame to see his career derailed by controversy instead of being covered in glory like it should.
