Stobart have got the naming rights to the competition. Not everything.

It was the same at Headingley. Im assuming that engage are still minor sponsors?

Same at Saints. I think it's just that all the clubs have them and so are still using them.



Stobart presumably haven't offered money to sponsor the corner flags/post protectors and so are not named on them. At present it would seem engage are getting some free advertising.



At least Heinz Big Soup have taken over the man of the match award! Presumably they paid for the pleasure.

Stobart haven't offered any money at all. Ridiculous decision to go with them, imo, but there's no point me dwelling on it.

At yesterday's games was there any touch line signage advertising Stobart Superleague or is this confined to the UK highways only.

as someone posted earlier maybe Engage are still sponsors in some way, if so this is surely a good thing? People were moaning that Stobart were getting free advertising but then moaning that they aren't getting free advertising, make your minds up. The RFL said the Stobart deal meant they could get more sponsors on board maybe this is just one example of that.

Yes and the ref/touch judges also had new sponsors.

So maybe the RFL aren't as daft as people think.

Stobart are only title sponsors. That's it.



Previously, title sponsors had a lock out of everything: refs shirts, post pads, boards around the ground, etc. Apparently even the sleeve sponsors are open to new advertising (Heinz Big Soup). We are getting more money from new places as well as what we've got from Stobart... and people are STILL complaining about it!



How people can complain that the Stobart deal us rubbish AND complain that they aren't sponsoring EVERYTHING is beyond me!
