I was told 61 before the Leigh game.

Not sure if the list of results which can be linked to above are the complete list of Saturdays results. Those were the only ones I could find - nothing on the RFL site even though they've set a page up for the Nines Results.

They both played Gary although i only saw 2 of the Eagles games.The last one clashed with our game against Keighley.



Eagles and Fev both looked good and Hunslet played well as well winning their 3 games.

I believe that Halifax won the Plate and Blackpool won the Trophy.

Surprised then that they got turned over by Blackpool in the Final.

A fantastic weekend and competition.



I think it has a future.

Shame there's not more comment about the event on here - it was a very well run weekend and the various sets of fans there seemed to mix really well and enjoy the spectacle on offer (several games, only 18 minutes long, ending 26-24 or similar, with Sheffield's 50-10 demolition of Leigh being particularly impressive).



Just a shame the numbers weren't greater. I'd guess at there being about 1,200 there on the Saturday and 700 on the Sunday, but I may be way off the mark.



Certainly worth repeating... particularly if Blackpool can retain their shock crown!

On the Fax site they reckon 750 on the sat and 300 on the sunday



Matters not I suppose , most who went seemed to enjoy it although most have criticised the 2 day format

From all accounts I've heard so far, it sounds like it was a pretty well run event. The only thing that stopped me going was the two day format. As a SL fan I'd rather see my own team play. Had our game been on the Sunday and the 9s was a one day event, I would have defiantly considered going.



Will have to go to Headingley 9s to compensate in August.
