...so Wigan should have the worse Brit, and Huddersfield would have...who exactly? McNally?
How dare Wigan develop so many players. Who said you have to keep them once you develop them? Nobody. With a bit more time there will be a few more successes from smaller clubs, like how well Huddersfield have done this year. |

In the last three years the overseas quota has dropped from 10 to 5, there was a reported 97 nrl trained players in sl last season.
I wonder how many for 2011?

Imports over developing your own talent.
On one hand you bag England selections then on the other you totally miss the point over your own teams choices for imports over English. |

Again, Wigan do develop talent.
They don't have to stay in Wigan to be developed, they can become good players elsewhere like Brown, Robinson. Just because you pay them and we have what we feel is better, doesn't mean they are Huddersfield doing their bit for England. Huddersfield didn't bring them through. |

You could have said/ probably did say the same when announcing signings of Kirk Netherton, Chas I'Anson, Ryan Esders, Frankie Mariano, Scott Spaven, Lee Gomersall, James Haynes etc. Clubs have to have a certain number of homegrown players on the books under the franchise rules. Cheerleading Rovers meeting these minimum requirements as a sign of a brave new world of Rovers' squad being built around a nucleus of homegrown players is getting a bit giddy in this context.
