Arre you saying if he had kicked the drop goal he would be a better player? i've seen some great players miss drop goals, especially with defenders running right at them. For instance has sinfield never missed an important goal or drop goal in a big game? Dont forget he scored a wonderful try which made the leeds defence look silly to get cas into that position.
All 3 players have had fantastic seasons and any one of the 3 could win it deservedly, but chase has undoubtedly had a harder job to do than the other two playing behind a pack with its 4 first choice front rowers missing most of the season. |

Except his team managed a whole 9th and bombed a Challenge Cup semi. Whereas the other two teams finished 2 and 3, one got the CC semi, the other won it and both are in the play off semi. One will obviously reach the GF.
I know it's an individual award but to say that Chase has performed better in worse team is also ignoring the fact that that team so abysmally poor in comparison to the other two. |
