Good news and hats off to North Wales Cru.



The liquidation and formation of the new club was a last straw for me and I can't really justify travelling to North Wales for Championship 1 rugby league.



I'm throwing my full support behind the South Wales Scorpions, and before anybody has any comments I watched them too for the first two years of existence, and look forward to the up coming season starting Sunday at Rochdale.

I actually agree with you Starbug, so I'm not quite sure what you think 'I believe'.



I believe if Crusaders didn't have such a moronic and impatient owner the first time round they could by now have been a really solid Championship club challenging Widnes for the SuperLeague spot. Alas they didn't and wern't. They turned out to be a huge gamble that backfired spectacularly.



At least out of all this mess we now have two pro Welsh clubs with a bit of potential, rather than none. I wish Crusaders and SWS all the best.

Thats the beauty of having two clubs isn't it?. hopefully you can both grow together with a proper rivalry.

For what it's worth the name change was the final straw for me above all else.



As it was they had to change their name to meet the RFL requirement that the club represented an area.



I'm not North Welsh and wouldn't feel right cheering on a team with that name. It wouldn't feel like my club.



I experienced Super League and enjoyed it although it wasn't the most fun getting battered more than often. I'm still watching rugby league and enjoying the craic which is the main thing for me.



I would change my name but a few people on here will not know who to have a dig at so I'll keep it the same for ease of forum use.

I had one club and one that conveniently rose from the ashes of the departing Celtic Crusaders in South Wales.



If Scorpions weren't about I would not be a fan of North Wales Crusaders. I wish them well but just do not see them as my team. Crusaders were still an incarnation of the original club and the administration was a tester but liquidation and the name change and in effect a new club meant I had to call it a day.



Good luck to them but not my club.

Hopefully the passion is there for the SWS and you and others can help the club grow
