Who are Widnes signing then? Kind of forgot they were joining SL due to how ineffective they've been in the Championship.





From a Widnes fans pov, where do you realistically expect to finish next season? Crowd averages? Overseas players?

Do we have to explain this everytime? People still don't get why we haven't spent up on players the last 3 years - erm...we didn't have to!



How can we comment on our team when we don't know it yet. We're under no illusions, next year will be tough.

Nope I get all of the above, just wondering who you're signing tomorrow, surely there's some solid rumours.

A number of their players will presumably come from whichever current SL side gets ditched. It would make some sense for Widnes to wait and see which club gets the chop before signing too many players up just because they're OOC (marquee players aside).

Wasn't the idea of an early announcement to PREVENT what you suggest and give Widnes the opportunity to make signings before the chop was made.

Correct but I guess it's also inevitable that a few will be signed from by relegated side due mainly to them taking up a large part of the available Market. As said we can still sign a few up in the meantime (officially starting today.



Once the final SL announcement is made however the picture will be a lot clearer for all.

Thought this deserved a bit more attention than it got.

It seems that Widnes are simply being used as a bargaining tool by pretty much every player that is looking for a contract renewal at their current club.

All widnes vikings stronghold memebers to recieve a text at 12, i'd made up, this involves the fans a lot more. Hodgson and Cahill i'm going for. I would be made up with Hodgson.

We're two wins off top spot in the Championship and unbeaten in eight IIRC, despite what I think is quite a poor team.



I think we'll finish in the bottom three of SL.



I think we'll gladly sign anyone who can improve us, quota or non-quota.
