| Rob Burrow, Leon Pryce, Cory Paterson, Michael Dobson, Rangi Chase and Tim Smith. I think that's pretty much every player in SL we've now been linked with!

| In all fairness there is mileage in them all, except Chase. Pryce, Dobson and Smith have all previously worked under Noble and Paterson has a clause in his contract that states if Craig Sandercock leaves the club he is a free agent. I think Burrows is out of contract at the end of the season and aged 30 will Leeds offer him anything more than 1/2 year contract? Probably not.

| Chase has no mileage in him? He's the youngest of the lot haha. I think Dobson and Burrow would be 2 tremendous signings but cannot see Burrow leaving Leeds.

| Whilst Castleford are now listening to offers for Chase (who is contracted until 2015) in order to cut their wage bill, he is wanted by a number of big clubs in the NRL who would be a much more attractive option than us. Also if that wasn't enough there is the small issue of visa regulations which ultimately prevent Chase from joining another English team. So as I said, all very possible targets except Chase!
I'd welcome them all, although would we need Tim Smith if we got Dobson? If we were to offer Burrows 3 years and Leeds only two I'm sure he'd choose us.

| I think me and you have a different opinion of what 'mileage' means, bit of a misunderstanding. I agree though yes, I don't think there's a chance Chase will be joining us. I think the article was implying it would be Chase or Burrow or Dobson or Smith. Out of that list I'd choose Dobson as halfback, I see Burrow as a 9 anyway. Think Smoth would be a bit of 'for the sake of it' signing, from what I've seen Foran is just as good. I'd also be made up if we signed Pryce as a centre or loose forward on a 2 year deal, not sure of he'd swap the south of France for Barton to see his career out.
Too be honest i don't even know where Barker has got these names from, he could of made them up for all we know!

| Apologies if the term mileage was interpreted in the wrong way, I did mean it in a possibility of us signing them way.
I guess with Pryce it depends whether wants to move closer back to home after his stint in France. Whilst all those names would be good signings I still want to hear some major blockbusting names, James Graham is top of that list for me in terms of genuine/real targets.
Also Barker has probably got his info from Koukash who isn't afraid to tell anyone who'll listen who we are after.

Why's that?
Behind a weak pack he doesn't really do much but behind a winning pack, which I believe we'll have soon, he's devestating. There isn't many players who are better in broken play than Pryce.

| He's not been outstanding behind Catalans pack, and thats pretty strong.
He seems to play when he's in the mood.
It's only my opinion but I think he's underachieved in France bearing in mind the talent he undoubtedly has.

Chase's last game this weekend for Cas. Already signed for Dragons if the Aus press are correct.

Of that list Dobson is the standout target , and one of the youngest at 27, Paterson would be nice too! .
However I would guess the names are pure speculation, based on loaded questions :- If ----- ------- became available would you be interested in signing him etc.
" Let me tell you ....." Koukash was quoted as regretting his bravado comments about who we would sign ala Morley - Tomkins .
Quote Happy RedKoukash - I am not going to make the same mistake I made earlier in the Season , I have stopped all the speculation. Players will be announced when they are signed .. '"
