He's a good player that's for sure. Very tidy fullback and has impressed when watching Canterbury this year however at 28 and maybe hitting his prime would he leave Australlia?

True, I just think that a big chunk of money + an overseas spot could be better used.
There was talk of Ratchford playing full back next season, which I think is a far better option. |

last ' quality centre ' we had was probably Michael Hancock , before him Peter Williams
they're few & far between , i'll settle for a ' half decent centre ' who can run straight , put his winger through and tackle .

I like the idea of Ratchford at full-back, he has to be used more centrally. Wild is almost definitely a signing for you men now, I think injuries have hampered him in the last couple of years but a class player on his day. Salford also after one other out of contract player from Hudds but he's got a couple of offers on the table.

Rhys Wesser is set to be given a new one year contract at Souths, along with Colin Best. But I agree that the money would be best spent somewhere else and I don't think we should be too hasty in getting rid of Fitzpatrick. |
