Any chance we can have this as a sticky? I'm booking flights tomorrow from Liverpool-Girona (Thu-Sun) and will be staying in/around the Lloret area. I've no idea how to get to the resort from the airport although I'm guessing there's a bus/train service and from the the resort to the match on the Saturday (is there an official pick up by Catalan Sports Tours?). Any advice on travel etc would be much appreciated.

The match is played on SUNDAY for the cup game, there is something on the Saturday.
A group of us are going & staying in Calella at Hotel Olympic, cheap n cheerful  is the description.
Catalan Tours not running any transfers, already enquired. I have booked a minibus taxi for us cost of 300eur.PM if you want anymore info. |

This was for next months game BBM, hence the title of the thread   . I'm just trying to put the feelrers out in advance. I'm sure there are likely to be a couple of hundred Salford fans over there for the league game so I'm assuming there will be some sort of match day transfer arranged. |

Yes, majority of fans staying in Llorret & RedHazel organising coach transfer to game on SATURDAY 
Catalans not doing anything for the Salford game at this time, as no one booked hotels in Costa Brava through them at either game. Speak to Janice at game re coach.

Do you not fly  You can get flights from Liverpool or Leeds to Girona, leaving Wed returning Sun for £47  (£77 if you are checking a bag in each way). Going by rail must cost twice that surely and take a hell of a lot longer. |
